Can’t see the appeal and I feel there are much nicer areas in Krabi and around Thailand. I guess if you’re in the area and desperate to spend some time on an island by the beach then this might be okay. There is very little to see or do on the island except swim in the sea. There’s nothing else really worth seeing.

An island that has good connections and a lot of hotels for every wallet. Jungle, long beaches, reggae bars and a lazy feeling that will make you feel relaxed from the beginning. If you think Phuket and Koh Samui are too crowded, this is your spot.

Could be a nice and relaxing island but unfortunately has been largely taken over by faceless and predatory people in too many spaces. The majority of Thais here are wonderful people, unfortunately it is the aggressive and exploitative ones that you more often come into contact with. Highly recommend renting a car before coming here, you will pay more for local transportation.

Beautiful island. Lovely people. Not too touristy. Beaches are fab, food is great. Highly recommend if you enjoy a relaxing holiday.

Plenty to do if you’re looking for a more relaxed island that doesn’t break the bank? And that’s not a bunch of resort glued to each other. It’s still coming up, so it still has a taste of Thailand.

It’s pretty quiet place and not much to do at night apart from a few bars. It’s still a good place to holiday and enjoy island hopping activities. Nothing much to do if you’re staying for longer than 4-5 days
